The state of emergency extended in Georgia until May 22. The decision was approved by the Parliament with 97 votes (against10).
Besides, the decree of the President, which provides for certain restrictions during the state of emergency, was extended for the same period.
The opposition did not support this decision. Members of the National Movement and European Georgia called on the Government to submit an anti-crisis plan and a report on the measures taken.
As they said, the Government should answer a question of how it intends to assist vulnerable citizens.
