The Government of Georgia is working on support of economy in parallel to the struggle against COVID-19. Such a statement Maia Tskitishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Vice Prime Minister of Georgia made during the live air on BBC Radio Program “Newsday”.

In response to the question of the anchor Lawrence Pollard about the lifting of restrictions, she said that steps had to be made carefully before having of medicine or vaccine against the virus.

“We should be careful and strictly follow social distancing guidelines. I believe that everybody has to realize the necessity of adaptation with the virus before there is a medicine or vaccine.

We should learn coexistence with COVID-19”, - added Tskitishvili.
