People with severe disabilities and children with disabilities will receive GEL 600 assistance for 6 months. Such a statement the Prime Minister made during the presentation of the anti-crisis economic plan at the sitting of the Anti-Crisis Economic Group of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council.

According to Giorgi Gakharia, there are 40 000 such citizens in our country Georgia and the budget of this measure will be GEL 25 million.

Besides, self-employed citizens, after being identified, will receive GEL 300 as one-time assistance from the Government.

“Of course, it is extremely difficult for the state to identify the sector of our citizens who were informally employed or considered self-employed because they are not registered in any of the official databases and sources. However, the state undertakes to provide one-time assistance to these people in the amount of GEL 300 through social assistance services and through the maximum simplification of their identification. The approximate budget of this event will be GEL 75 000 000”, - concluded the Head of the Government.
