The first phase of lifting restrictions and opening the economy starts today.

From today, April 27, driving private vehicles/taxi cabs will be allowed. Besides, online shopping (wholesale and retail) and delivery services to resume operations; open air agricultural markets will reopen.

“These restrictions are eliminated country-wide, except the municipalities and administrative units under quarantine lockdown. As it is already known, enter of Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi, and Kutaisi are prohibited starting from April 15, 21:00 as well as the exit of these cities until the end of the state of emergency.

Nevertheless, as an exclusion, it is permitted to enter and exit of these cities only in the direction of the actual residence on April 27 and 28.

In the frames of the state of emergency, the rest of restrictions remain in force, including the curfew starting from 21:00 till 06:00”, - said the Prime Minister’s spokesperson Irakli Chikovani.
