The President of Georgia talked with the Estonian counterpart by the phone.


Salome Zourabichvili and Kersti Kaljulaid discussed the grave global situation caused by the pandemic is seriously affecting the economy. As Georgian leader noted, tourism is one of the most hardly-hit areas of the economy in our country and active cooperation and work are necessary for the its recovery post-crisis.

Zourabichvili once again underlined that Georgia’s rapprochement toward the EU and the process of European integration should not slow down. They also discussed Georgia’s path toward European and Euro-Atlantic integration.


The President of Georgia briefed her colleague about the current situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.


The President of Estonia also writes about the conversation.


“Spoke to president Zourabichvili about the current crisis and the post-pandemic paradigm we all have to learn to live in. One thing is certain though - we are not forgetting about Georgia!”, - tweeted Kersti Kaljulaid.
