In Adjara, the opposition is criticizing the Government’s agricultural assistance program.
The United National Movement says that this is another PR campaign of the ruling team and the program is not tailored to the residents of Adjara villages. They said land reform in the region had not yet taken place. Consequently, those farmers who have not registered the plot in the public register will not be able to receive the assistance of 200 GEL.
The opposition says that there are risks of corruption. The opposition is appealing to the Prime Minister to increase the funding for the voucher to 400 GEL for all landowners.
