The officers of Kakheti police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information, detained Z.M. (DoB 1998) for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, explosive device and ammunition.

Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Z.M. was detained in Chumlaki village, Gurjaani municipality when he was driving a vehicle on Telavi-Gurjaani highway. During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized firearm, explosive device and ammunition.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, explosive device and ammunition, article 236, III and IV parts of the criminal Code of Georgia.
