Police detained one person in Kakheti for wounding as a result of immediate activities

The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained 1-G.Tch. (DoB 1982) person for causing severe health injury in purpose.

Committed crime envisages from 7 to 13 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that, on the basis of conflict, detainee inflicted health injuries with a cold steel to G.Tch. (DoB 1997) and M.Tch. (DoB 1994). The wounded individuals have been transferred to the hospital

Law enforcers arrested G.Tch. shortly after the incident. The weapon of crime was seized by police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of causing severe health injury on purpose, article 117, VII part, sub-paragraph “A” envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
