Water tariff increase in Mtskheta

Residents of Mtskheta will now pay water bills by increased tariff. Citizens who have installed water meters, are going to pay 20 tetri instead of 10 tetri per 1 cubic meter of water consumed.

“Mtskheta Water” addressed Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission.

The company also demanded increase in payment by person, but the rate of 2, 40 GEL remained the same. Despite the demand of the company, the tariff did not increased for business companies. Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission satisfied only part of company"s demands.

The Chairman of commission Gocha Shonia said that the rates are fair.

Citizens of Mtskheta protest against increase in payment and say that it will cause problems. .

668 thousand customers in Mtskheta water tariff increase.

Tariff increased for 1668 subscribers in Mtskheta.
