A young man was wounded in Rustavi late at night. The person underwent an operation at the Central Hospital of the city.

The details of the incident are still unknown.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation launched under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (severe intentional damage to health). The offense carries a maximum sentence of 3 to 6 years in prison.
