State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality is resigning. Today, the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia thanked Ketevan Tsikhelashvili for her work, but didn’t name the person, who will replace her.
“She has been working in the Georgian government for almost four years. Her work links with many important initiatives, including “A Step to a Better Future”, a serious, forward-looking effort to create normal conditions for our citizens living on both sides of our occupation line and to rebuild civic bridges in various areas such as economics, business, and social and cultural spheres.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili will continue her work in the diplomatic service. I am confident that her qualifications, knowledge, and experience will help to deepen our diplomatic achievements and take us to Europe”, - said Gakharia.
