According to Nika Gvaramia, the Director-General of the Mtavari Arkhi, the liquidation of Giorgi Gabunia was planned by the order of Ramzan Kadyrov

Vasambeg Bokov, a citizen of Russia from Ingushetia planning to eliminate TV presenter Giorgia Gabunia following the order from Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has been apprehended in Tbilisi.

“The Counter-Terrorism Service detained in Tbilisi a Russian citizen born in Ingushetia, Vasambeg Bokov. The official reason for his arrest is what I am going to talk about now. As far as I am aware, he was arrested on a different charge, but the main thing reported by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to the Georgian authorities is that this person was planning to liquidate Giorgi Gabunia on the order of Ramzan Kadyrov. Gabunia’s murder was planned after he made a statement on Russia and its leader at Rustavi 2”, - said Gvaramia.

The citizen of Russia was reportedly detained by security officers on Kavtaradze street after a special operation held on Friday.
