The information released by different media sources about lockdown of Tbilisi on June 20 is not true and aims at misleading the public by certain groups.

“The current epidemiological situation in the country does not represent the ground to close Tbilisi or any other city”, - reads the information, released by the Government of Georgia.

For the past few days, it has been speculated that entering and leaving the capital would be restricted from June 20. The media especially focused on spreading the word about it on Tuesday.
