The source of infection into 2 new COVID-19 cases is known. Such a statement made the Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Marina Ezugbaia, one is a contact of the confirmed case, the other case is imported.

“One of the two patients is placed at Hospital of Infectious Diseases, the patient’s health condition is of moderate gravity and progression of the infection is not expected. 21 infected with COVID-19 patients continue medical treatment at Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases, 140 are placed at COVID centers across Georgia”, - added Ezugbaia.
