The European Center for Freedom of the Press and Media reports that the organization is asking the government to ensure the safety of Giorgi Gabunia, a journalist of Mtavari Arkhi.

"We strongly condemn the alleged assassination attempt on journalist Giorgi Gabunia in Georgia. And we ask the Georgian government to do everything possible to protect him”, - the statement reads
