Ministry of Finance of Georgia took this decision and has thus actually created ideal conditions for natural losses in the trade of food and groceries to be written off in the simplest manner, stated the Prime Minister of Georgia at the Executive Government Meeting today.

According to Giorgi Gakharia, it will ease operation in the private sector.

“One more joyful and long-desired solution has been found to the issue of write-offs of natural losses in the trade of food and groceries, which has always been disputed by and between the Ministry of Finance and the private sector, as I remember. This decision has now been made by the Ministry of Finance and has thus actually created ideal conditions for natural losses to be written off in the simplest manner in the referred area. It will of course ease life and operation for businesses”, - noted the Head of the Government.
