Merab Turava has become the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia. He was supported by five of the nine judges.

Irina Imerlishvili was another candidate, however, received only 4 votes.

The candidates for the post of chairman of the Constitutional Court presented their visions to the Plenum of the Constitutional Court, after which a secret ballot was held.
