The member of the political council of the United National Movement and the head of the Kakheti Regional Organization accuses the government of stopping the second stage of the rehabilitation of Telavi.
Giorgi Botkoveli came to Cholokashvili Street with the activists and presented photos showing the projects and tourist facilities implemented in the city during the previous government.
According to Botkoveli, GEL 50 mln was spent on the ongoing rehabilitation in Telavi in 2012. The project included the second stage, but after the Georgian Dream came to power, all work was suspended.
The mayor of Telavi responded to Botkoveli. According to Shota Nareklishvili, he has no information about the second stage of the rehabilitation project. As for the work done during the previous government, he added that the re-rehabilitation of some facilities has become necessary and a considerable amount of money has been spent on it.
