The meeting of the Holy Synod continues for second hour at the patriarchate of Georgia. The head of Georgian  orthodox church- Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II heads the meeting.

The Meeting will decide who will lead the patriarchate of Racha, as Metropolitan Elise passed away in March.

Reportedly other important issues will also  be discussed within the congregation, but the agenda is not known for journalists.
