The opposition says that the Georgian Dream majoritarian candidates have been selected according to their obedience to Bidzina Ivanishvili and that they are symbols of a bankrupt political force.

“The list of Georgian Dream’s majoritarian candidates speaks of the bankruptcy of this political party. They spoke a lot that they had resources to attract new cadres and that they were going to present new faces to people. However, we"ve seen today that there are no new faces, but candidates who served different governments at different times.

Their only worth and uniting skills are to obey Ivanishvili’s orders without a word. This list of majoritarians tells us once again that the very convincing victory of oppositional parties at the parliamentary elections is inevitable”, - said the member of the United National Movement Salome Samadashvili.
