Today the country celebrates Independence Day

Today the country is celebrating the Independence Day. The event will open at 12 a.m. with a theatrical march. At 1 p.m.13 in the swearing-in ceremony will be held at Freedom Square. The ceremony will be attended by the President, Prime Minister and other government officials.

Defense Minister , Tina Khidasheli will celebrate this day in Afghanistan with Georgian troops. The Independence celebrations include the elements of air shows.

Throughout the day, at Rustaveli Avenue will behousing different corners arranged by the state agencies. Contests, competitions and other events will be held.
