Ken Volker Medical Rehabilitation University Clinic opened in Tbilisi. The Prime Minister, Chairman of the Parliament and U.S. Ambassador to Georgia attended the opening ceremony.
This clinic is the first one in the Caucasus region that is equipped with American and European high-technology medical facilities and provides multi-discipline rehabilitation service. It will simultaneously serve up to 200 children and 250 adults.
Due to the growing interest toward Ken Walker Clinic from the neighboring countries, additional funds will flow into the Georgian economy that will contribute to the development of medical tourism in Georgia.
As Kelly Degnan said, the opening of Ken Volker Clinic in Tbilisi is the best example of how well the Georgian government reacts upon challenges.
“Apart from this one facility, we have partnership in many other areas, which are very important in improving the quality of the healthcare system in Georgia. This is the best example of how well the Georgian government is responding to challenges, including coronavirus”, - said the Ambassador.
