On the instruction of the Prime Minister of Georgia the representatives of the relevant agencies left for the disaster zone. Among them are Sozar Subari, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Regional Development, Irakli Karseladze and Ilia Begiashvili, Deputy Ministers of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Giga Mandaria, Director of the United Water Supply Company, etc.

The representatives of the Government will get acquainted with the situation on the ground, in order to make appropriate decisions to assist the local population as soon as possible.

The natural disaster affected twelve the villages of Oni municipality. Roads and houses were damaged by rains and flooding. Besides, the infrastructure is mostly damaged, however, the disaster also affected several families.
