Independence Day was celebrated in Rustavi. The city hosted the exhibition of military equipment , a variety of entertainment events and exhibitions were also held.

Vice Speaker of the Parliament , Zviad Dzidziguri congartulated the residents of Rustavi who gathered at Freedom Square on Independence Day. The gathered public was also addressed by the regional governor Paata Khizanashvili, the City Mayor, David Jikia, the board chairman, David Maghlakelidze and local government representatives today.

At the end of the day a gala-concert is planned.
