Embassy of Georgia to the United States published a letter received from Congressman Joe Wilson.

The letter “Georgia Advances Democracy” talks about Constitutional changes and successfully ongoing election legislature reform in Georgia. According to the Embassy, Congressman of South Carolina submitted the written speech to the Congress on June 25.

“The American people appreciate the courage of the Georgian lawmakers who supported the March 8 agreement. This includes steps related to electoral reform and efforts against political interference in the judiciary. In doing so, Georgia will protect the progress it has made and reaffirm that it is an unconditional model for democratic transformation in the region”, - reads the letter of Congressman Wilson.
