The self-employed citizens who applied for GEL 300 compensation and didn’t meet the documentation criteria, will nevertheless receive the amount. Such a statement made the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“Before we start the third stage of the social program pertaining to helping the citizens during the crisis, I would like to complete the transitional component of it. I am talking about the aid to self-employed individuals. We started this program couple of months ago. 250 000 citizens have applied to the Government for one time GEL 300 payment. 170 000 citizens who fully met the documentation criteria received the payment.

However, before we switch to next stage, we have decided that the applications of the remaining 80 000 citizens who didn’t meet the documentation criteria will be approved and receive the one time GEL 300 payment. By this, we complete this program”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
