In response to a journalist’s question regarding the case of Tamar Bachaliashvili, the Prime Minister noted that he is waiting for the results of the investigation together with the parents and that he has no problem with regard to the meeting once the investigation is over.
“I am waiting for the results of the investigation every day, together with the parents, and I have no problem with regard to the meeting once the investigation is over; this is my responsibility, as the Head of the Government, to the country, the country"s institutions, and the parents”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
The Head of the Government once again expressed his condolences, noting that when something like this takes place, it is a tragedy not just for the family but for the entire country.
“First of all, I would like to express deep sorrow over the incident. Losing a young girl, a citizen of Georgia is a great tragedy. When such tragedies take place in a country, it is a tragedy not just for the family but for the entire country. As the country’s Prime Minister, I have an obligation to respect the institutions. I am waiting for the conclusion of the investigation together with the parents”, - concluded the Prime Minister.
