Citizens arriving from Mestia will enter mandatory quarantine. Such a statement made today Alexander Khojevanishvili, the Head of Operating Headquarters of the Interagency Coordination Council.

According to him, in order to avoid the spread of COVID-19, tourists from all settlements of Mestia will be transferred to the quarantine zones.

The lockdown has been imposed on Mestia Municipality today after 17 cases of coronavirus were detected in that area.

Restrictions on movement have been imposed on other villages of the Municipality as well.
