“Today is August 11, and exactly 12 years ago, 17 Georgian heroes sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the country in an unequal struggle. These are the people who did not give up anything, even though the fight was unequal.

The heroes of Shindisi are the greatest Georgians in our recent history. We must remember their names. At the same time, Georgia always had and will always have heroes. We must take care of our citizens, take care of peace because without peace there is no development. Nothing will develop in the country if there"s no peace - no tourism, no economy, education - nothing. Therefore, we should have heroes, a strong army but we should always seek peace”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
