“As you know, access to health services still remains problematic in the country. The treatment of oncological diseases needs special attention. There was a problem when our citizens diagnosed with cancer had to pay for treatment from their pocket.

I am sure we will make a decision to increase this program by GEL 8 000, which will enable each of our citizens, who fights against this disease, to undergo a full course of treatment without any personal expenses. Unfortunately, today 1 974 citizens of Georgia are enrolled in this program and this will an extremely important support to them”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
