The United National Movement may nominate a candidate in the Isani district. Such a statement made today Levan Bezhashvili, the member of the UNM, while talking about the majoritarian candidate of Isani district Giorgi Vashadze.

According to Bezhashvili, the political party considers it unjustified that UNM enjoying only 2% support has nominated 2 majoritarian candidates - Giorgi Vashadze and Tako Charkviani in the capital.

“Unfortunately, Giorgi Vashadze and his team broke the unity of the United Opposition for an absolutely irrelevant reason to name him as a candidate for the post of Prime Minister.

Consequently, they demanded quotas - about 10 seats in the party list. This is unacceptable to us, because the main thing now is to concentrate on the problems of voters and not on the distribution of seats.

Tako Charkviani is nominated in Saburtalo without any agreement with any political party. We consider it unjustified that party enjoying only 2% support has nominated 2 majoritarian candidates in Tbilisi, so there are many arguments to raise this issue again”, - concluded Levan Bezhashvili.
