According to European Georgia, the Government plans to invite a limited number of international observers to parliamentary elections. Such a statement made Sergi Kapanadze, a member of the political party.
“We call on the Government to do two things in addition. First - they need to ensure that these observers from various international organizations, whether it is the OSCE, the Council of Europe, the NATO-Parliamentary Assembly or U.S. organizations, enter Georgia without delay. This includes removing the quarantine requirement for observers and making it easier for them to enter. Second, the Government must rovide health insurance to observers. There are talks that in some countries observers may not arrive due to the pandemic and also because of the insurance system of the country that does not operate in Georgia”, - stated Kapanadze.
