According to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council quarantine restrictions will be lifted in the town of Mestia and in Lenjeri from 2 September.

At the moment, the final phase of universal testing is underway at these locations. It was noted during the session of the council that as a result of timely and effective measures, the epidemiological situation in the town of Mestia and in Lenjeri is fully under control.

During the session of the Interagency Coordination Council, which was held today at the Administration of the Government, it was emphasized that in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus it is necessary to maintain a gradual approach for the purpose of reducing mobility, as evidenced by international examples.
