The production of the coronavirus vaccine is in a final phase and it could be approved in the late fall. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) after the meeting of the Coordination Council.

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, Georgian government, Health Ministry, NCDC is actively negotiating to obtain vaccine.

Totally there are 1 436 cases of coronavirus in Georgia. The number of recovered patients stands at 1150.
