The Georgian legislature will officially resume work. According to the regulations, the autumn session of the Parliament opens on the first Tuesday of September.
As part of the autumn session, the Parliament will have to consider and pass several new bills. The annual reports of State Security Service and General Prosecutor will be discussed during the fall session.
The legislature will assemble based on a special schedule due to the forthcoming 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia, though parliamentary committees will continue working in their usual regime.
The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament will lead the plenary and bureau sessions instead of the Chairperson today.
