Video footage obtained by the "courier" depicts Giorgi Gudadze`s detention. Video was retrieved from the surveillance in one of the sports stores in Abashidze Street.

The footage shows how Giorgi Gudadze parks the car at the sidewalk, gets out of the car and starts window shopping. A few minutes later he is arrested.

According to Gudadze`s lawyers, the arrest was conducted with processual violations. Human rights activists say that the lawwho were following first took him away from cameras and and then searched him.

They suggest that at that time drugs were planted on Gudadze.

As for weapon, in the illegal purchase and keeping of which Gudadze is accused, according to the lawyer,it is a family relic and dates back to the seventeenth century. The families claims that the gun is a present from Chabua Amirejibi.
