23 out of 45 new cases of coronavirus detected in Georgia are related to Adjara. Such a statement made today the Medical Director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital.

“45 new cases have been confirmed in the country for the first time. 23 out of these cases are related to Adjara. 19 had contact with an infected patient, 4 are employees of “Aversi” clinic and the source of infection into 3 cases is unknown at this stage and an epidemiological study is underway”, - said Marina Ezugbaia.

Totally there are 1 729 cases of coronavirus in Georgia.
