According to preliminary data, a prisoner committed suicide in correctional facility N 2 in Kutaisi. The information is confirmed by the Ministry of Corrections.

According to the statement spread by the Ministry, the prisoner was found dead in the toilet yesterday. Police have begun an investigation of the case.
The body of 36-year-old Irakli Suramnidze has been transferred to his home. The family does not agree with the suicide version.
