The European Parliament passed a resolution on the implementation of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the European Union with 552 votes against 61.
The authors of the document assessed achievements in important areas such as: political dialogue, rule of law, human rights, economic and sectoral cooperation.

According to the document, significant progress has been made in strengthening Georgia’s parliamentary democracy through constitutional reforms and March 8 agreement, following internal political turmoil, relating to the parliamentary election system.
