The International Republican Institute (IRI) publishes ratings of political parties. The question was - if the parliamentary elections were held this week, which party would you vote for?
The IRI also asked the question - if your preferred party was not on the ballot, which party would you vote for? The percentage of respondents’ responses was distributed as follows:
Georgian Dream - 36%;
National Movement - 15%;
European Georgia - 4%;
Strategy Aghmashenebeli - 4%;
Alliance of Patriots - 3%;
Labor Patria - 3%;
Lelo for Georgia - 2%;
Girchi - 2%;
Nino Burjanadze - United Georgia - 1%;
23% do not know the answer to the question.
The survey was conducted by the IRI between August 4 and August 21, through face-to-face interviews with 1 500 citizens. The survey was funded by the US AID. The margin of error does not exceed +/- 2.5%.
