26 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Imereti. According to the governor Zviad Shalamberidze, the cases are related to both well-known and new clusters.

Several patients are from the Gold Exchange market, the virus has been detected in several store employees. Several people in the hotel in Sairme also tested positive for COVID-19.

As the governor said, their contacts are being quarantined. He added that situation in Imereti is under control. There are about 270 patients in the clinics.
