Ministry of Environment Protection responds to landslide processes with a a special statement.The statement says that the representatives of the Ministry can not reach at this point the natural disaster area.

"There was activation of landslides processes . According to reports, one person is missing. At this stage it is impossible for the group of geologists to travel to the site".

"Environment and Natural Resources Ministry together with Interior Ministry will travel to Shatili as soon as weather conditions improve. The Georgian and Czech geologists will assess the situation on the place, identify risks and issue appropriate recommendations for emergency measures," - says the statement of the Environment Ministry.
