It is unbelievably cynical when the dishonest and sly political team tries to continue deceiving people and regain unlimited power to redouble its efforts in order to personally take revenge on people who contributed to their removal from power in 2012. Such a statement Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, made today during the presentation of the party’s election program.

“I believe that the genetic resilience developed as a result of the relentless struggle with many invaders over centuries has enabled our fearless people, together with the Georgian Dream, to unite and defeat the regime that cruelly treated its own people.

In recent weeks, we have seen shameful examples of regret and theatrical hypocrisy, which proves once again that they are really of a very low opinion of the Georgian society and think that they can easily manipulate people. That is why the coexistence of our people, culture and traditions with the rule of the UNM is fundamentally unthinkable. No one can erase from our memory the faces of innocent young people who were demonstratively shot dead.

We will never forget the tacit executor of the government’s evil will, the kneeled court, opposition in terror, the rigged elections, the distorted constitution, democratic deficit and imbalance of power, captured and lifeless media, constant threats and blackmail to disclose private information, illegally arrested journalists, abused writers, actors, scientists, athletes and other prominent members of our society”, - said Bidzina Ivanishvili.
