Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze met with the World Bank Regional Director, Sebastian Molineus. The aspects of bilateral cooperation and future plans were discussed

The participants reflected on implemented and planned activities within the framework of the World Bank Emergency COVID-19 Response Project.

The issue of salary increase for the representatives of medical field involved in COVID-19 response was underlined by the participants.

“We discussed the projects implemented in Georgia with support of the World Bank; this concerns implemented and planned activities within the framework of the World Bank Emergency COVID-19 Response Project; we discussed future plans, including the issue of increased remuneration for doctors”, - said the Minister.
