The Prime Minister of Georgia thanked Tea Tsulukiani for her productive 8 years as Justice Minister and commended her personal contribution to the humanization of the judiciary.

“Allow me to list the directions in which Ms. Tsulukiani has made an exceptional contribution to the country’s progress. These are the establishment of a restorative justice system, introduction of crime prevention mechanisms, adoption of resocialization and rehabilitation programs for defendants and convicts, and, most importantly, steps taken toward the humanization of the judiciary as a whole. Besides, we must also remember that, presently, Georgia has one of the best juvenile codes, and that should be credited to Tea Tsulukiani, and our success in the European Court of Human Rights is also linked to her name. I wish her success in Parliament, and I am confident that her work there will be equally successful and productive”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
