The Ministers of Defense and Economy opened the building of a new aircraft manufacturing plant

A new aircraft manufacturing plant opened on the territory of Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing, where aircraft owned by the Defence Forces of Georgia will be fully restored and repaired by Georgian specialists.

Spread over 3,000 sq.m. territory the new plant was opened today by Georgian Defence Minister IrakliGharibashvili and Economy Minister NatiaTurnava.

Currently Mi-24 helicopters belonging to the Georgian Defence Forces are being repaired at the new plant.
