Potentially hazardous weather in Georgia, traffic to Kazbegi to be restricted

Heavy rain forecasted in Dariali Gorge . The experts state that difficult conditions may create additional problems .

The Road Department issued a decision few hours ago. According to it the traffic in Dariali Gorge is restricted for 12 hours.

In particular, all types of vehicles will be banned on the road to the Russian border via Kazbegi from 19:00 till 07:00 am, June 6. The restrictions will remain tomorrow.

Traffic movement will be under the direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
