A new technology park and training center opened in the new campus building of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
The government of Adjara allocated over GEL 3 million from the budget to build new facilities for the university. In total 11 professional programmes designed for 255 students will be available in the university building. Adapted lecture-rooms, laboratories, computer classes, a library, and reading rooms are created for each programme.
“There is a laboratory, modern equipment, new technologies. This is a space that will allow even more young people to realise their ideas. Our government is doing its utmost to support the IT sector as well as other global companies to attract them to the region”, - said the Head of the Adjara region government Tornike Rijvadze.
