We are sure that we will win unconditionally in the second round. Such a statement made today the Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream.

“We expect an unconditional victory in all 30 majoritarian constituencies. We win the elections in the first round. However, in other cases we will have a second round and of course we are confident of winning the election.

As for the probability of the second round, we had a similar result in 2016. We needed a runoff in 2/3 cases back then. In this case, we see that there is a need of a second round in half of them or fewer cases, even though the result is similar. The probability is high that there will be a need of runoffs in half of the cases, or in 2/3. In this case, we will need a second round in half of the constituencies”, - said Mamuka Kobakhidze.
