Wearing a face mask also becomes mandatory outdoors. The decision was made by the Interagency Council of the Government.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister Maria Tskitishvili,
“The decision serves to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We have made a decision to make it mandatory not only to wear a face mask indoors, but also in the open spaces. The sanction and regulation on wearing face masks will be the same both for open and closed spaces”, - said Maia Tskitishvili, the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia.
Wearing of medical face masks will become mandatory both in closed and open spaces from tomorrow, November 4.
